February Fashion Events You Don't Want To Miss
As we finally say goodbye to January, inevitably the slowest month of the year, we welcome February the fashion month. From the multiple fashion weeks that take place across the globe, an array of events and exciting exhibitions are a must-see for any fashion student or style lover. So, if your invitation for the Burberry show somehow got lost in the post, we have got you covered so you don’t miss out on any other key fashion events for this month.
Pure London
When: 10-12 Feb (student’s permitted on the 12th)
Where: Olympia London
What: Fashion trade event

Pure London is the UK’s leading fashion trade event that features over 1,300 womenswear, menswear and kids wear collections with 160 garment and fabric suppliers. The event that includes catwalk shows from Pure London and Pure Origin aims to bring together the entire fashion supply chain. Seminars talking about Brexit, sustainability and the industry are also held over the course of the three days.
Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams
When: Now until 14th July
Where: V&A London
What: Exhibition
How much: £15 student (with NUS card) £20 adult
The inspiring Dior exhibition spans collections from 1947 to present day and ‘explores the enduring influence of the fashion house’. Key influencers and fashion personal have previewed the showcase and incredible reviews have poured in. Make sure to book tickets in advance as many have sold out already – a must-see!

London Fashion Week Festival
When: 16-17th February
Where: Show Space, 180 Strand, London

LFW Festival is much higher price-wise but if you are a super fashion fan with the money for a ticket this is an amazing event to attend. The event involved shopping from brands such as Astrid and Miyu, catwalk shows and talks from industry insiders such as Alexandra Shulman. Get to network and mingle with fashion’s leading influencers and be inspired by all the exciting experiences.

Diana: Her Fashion Story
When: Now until 17th February
Where: Kensington Palace
What: Exhibition
How much: £12.70-£15.50 for students or £16-£19.50 adults
This ‘definitive dress’ exhibition follows the evolution of Diana, Princess of Wale’s style spanning from romantic to glamorous dresses and outfits of her first public appearances. Explore new discoveries and rare outfits that have been put together in memorial of one of the most iconic British royals.
LFW Networking Party by Cocktails and Conversations
When: 15th February
Where: Mahiki in Mayflower, London
What: Networking event and fashion party
