Outerwear Trends A/W 19
The cooler (and wetter) weather is well underway and whether we like it or not, it's time to wrap up! Faux fur coats, borg-lined jackets and puffers in every colour have all made their return for AW19, but we are here to show you a few new styles and how to wear them for a slightly different look.
The Gilet Jacket
Opting for pastels in the cooler months creates a challenging and creative look. Pair with an equally as bright or neutral cream polo neck and wear with some 90s inspired mom jeans to allude a relaxed style that is perfect for the transitional seasons.
Vintage Twist:Search out retro Tommy Hilfiger or Ralph Lauren gilets in bold red, yellow or blue hues and wear with track pants and chunky trainers for all the sporty-spice vibes.
The Overshirt Jacket
Keeping with the bright colour palette and Spice Girl's references, this bold fuchsia pink belted overshirt jacket is a fresh approach to winter dressing. Style with a shirt and cigarette trousers for a clean silhouette or add flared black jeans and a pointed-toe boot for a VB-inspired style.
The Oversized Blazer
Check and plaid patterns are always a good choice for a heritage winter look but this oversized blazer with burnt red and brown hues makes a real statement. Style with a chunky knit and leather-look trousers for a city-chic fit or be daring a pair with the matching trousers!
