The Check Look

Check print has come back this year and with a blast. This season we are seeing an array of various check prints like the popular Prince of Wales check that took to the stores last year. Tartan check has also been splashed all over blazers, belted trousers, heeled boots and even Converse trainers. Invest in a bold, check print piece and style with neutral basics with some statement earrings to create an easy, stylish outfit. Grab your favourite chunky knit, some Chelsea boots and style with a check skirt and layered necklaces to easily refresh your favourite pieces from last year.

The Statement Touch

Bold, gold and glam accessories are huge this season. Add quirky statement earrings or a tortoise shell detailing to elevate any look. Eccentric and oversized accessories allow you to revamp your Autumn/Winter wardrobe easily and can alter an outfit completely. Invest in basic accessories with an on-trend twist to update your look. Mix metals and explore bright colours to add a statement with tone rather than size.

The Animal Print

Animal prints have been revived this year as we see leopard, zebra and snake skin looks hitting the high-street and high-end outlets. With any bold print think about pairing with neutral tones to let the print do all the talking. Explore safari inspired print accessories and style with micro or oversized sunglasses and boots to enhance an already sleek look.

The Corduroy Comeback

This season we are inspired by the iconic 70’s with a colour palette of mustard yellow, deep burgundy with chocolate brown and nude tones. The timeless corduroy textile has been used to add a retro spin to already classic pieces such as; button-down cord skirts, flared trousers and fleece lined jackets. We have also spotted nostalgic pinafore dresses and burnt orange suits. Add one of these cord classics to your A/W wardrobe to experiment with texture and make sure to look out for vintage corduroy pieces to create a retro outfit.

The Tailoring Charm

We love it when the cooler months roll around because you get to smarten up your outfits with stunning long-line coats, tailored suits and cigarette trousers. These add an elegant touch to any look and you will be able to work it into so many of your existing outfits by paring with heeled boots and a simple necklace. Tailoring can be reworked and worn with an oversized shirt, jacket or bag and paired with trainers to create an effortlessly chic look, perfect for the transitional months.
