Victoria Beckham: 10 years on

Victoria Beckham celebrated 10 years since her entry to the fashion world in 2018. Her 10th anniversary collection celebrates the brands milestone with a 16-piece collection featuring pretty pastels and a new sense of femininity.
Making its debut at London Fashion Week the collection featured loose suits, slit cigarette trousers, elegant flats and fitted knits that were well received by critics. The New York Times’ Elizabeth Paton described the collection as ‘chic and versatile, contemporary but with clear nods to the many design codes upon which Ms Beckham has spent a decade forging’. Her iconic looks focused on the combination of the masculine and feminine elements with smart tailoring that flattered the feminine frame.
The easy chic basics create versatile outerwear that is intended for layering as we go into the colder months. The latest collection sees a stark difference between her first 2009 Spring/Summer RTW collection. Gone are the days of the fitted silhouette which showcased Posh Spice’s iconic look.
Although the ex-singer did pay homage to her roots by recreating her iconic bag shoot with Marc Jacobs a decade on. She took to posing in brand adorned bags with her legs displayed coming out, mirroring the creative positions of the original shoot. To celebrate the anniversary of her brand Victoria took to Instagram to announce her partnership with Jurgen Teller selling limited edition Victoria Beckham t-shirts.
